Isaiah 117 House kick off meeting: A new ministry is hoping to plant roots in Cocke County in the near future. The Isaiah 117 House serves as an “in-between” space where children can stay as they wait to be placed with a foster family. An expansion committee kick off meeting will be held on Thursday, June 13 at 12 p.m. at Memorial Baptist Church in Newport. All those wishing to participate in the new ministry are encouraged to attend the meeting.
