NEWPORT—Members of the Cocke County Legislative Body will convene on Monday evening for its regular monthly session.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Cocke County Courthouse.

Only three items of new business face commissioners on Monday evening. The commission has requested First Call Ambulance Service representatives to attend the meeting from recent issues heard by the safety committee.

Finance Director Heather McGaha will address the commission in the use of NASPO as a cooperative and she will also address them on approving update purchasing policies and conflict of interest policies.

Cocke County Attorney Brittany Vick has requested a closed session with the commissioners at the end of the agenda.

Commissioners will also approve several property tax refunds, as well as hear its monthly reports from the various CLB committees, Cocke County Mayor and other organizations.
