Norva Shults Brooks born June 3, 1930, departed this life April 28,
2008.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Jack Carl Brooks Sr.; parents, Dewey and Bertha Shults; brothers,
Paul and Donald Shults; sister, Reva Hurst; and brother-in-law, J.B. Hurst.
Survivors are her son, Jack
Carl and wife Marilyn Brooks, of Parrottsville; daughter, Susan Elaine Brooks
Martin, of Newport; brother, Doyle Shults; sister, Ruth is・Smelcer; grandsons, Craig Edward Martin, Christopher Scott and
wife Mitzie Martin, Matthew and wife Erin Brooks; great-grandsons, Preston,
Nickey, and Donovan Brooks; great-granddaughter, Carrie Paige Martin, who was Grandmas pecial little angel; special nieces, Violet and Joyce Hurst;
special friends for many years, Johnnie Ownby and Gina Ownby Roberts; other
nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be 1
p.m., Wednesday, April 30, at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray
Wiley officiating.
Interment will be in Union
Cemetery.
Family will receive friends
Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
