Frances Turner Bible

      Frances Turner Bible, 89 passed away on May 3, 2008 9:35 A.M. in Titusville, Florida. Mrs. Bible was born in Del Rio, Tennessee, Jan. 9, 1919. She was the daughter of the late William Charley Turner and Sarah Stokely Turner. She was the sister of the late Herman Turner, Herbert Turner, Annie Laurie Duckett, Minnie Sue Hixson, Cora Lou Turner and Len Oliver Turner.

     Frances Turner Bible was the wife of the late Fred Bible. She is survived by her three children; Fred Bible, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fl.; Sarah Bible Archibald of Titusville, Fl and Robert Bible of Mims, Fl. Six grand children; Fred Bible III, Melissa Bible, Kristie DeMoss, Kimberly Walker, Erica Smith and Kristin Claxton. Eleven great-grand children; Chandler Bible, Logan Bible, Madison Bible, Ben Martin, Brandon DeMoss, Cheyenne DeMoss, Anna DeMoss, Isabelle Walker, Patrick Walker, John Walker and Katherine Walker.

     Frances Turner Bible graduated from Cocke County High School in 1937. She worked for many years in the retail fashion industry. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida.

     Mrs. Bible’s family will receive guests at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, May 6 , 2008 at First Church of God in Del Rio, TN, with funeral services at 2:00 PM the same day. Burial will be at the Clark Cemetery. Pallbearers: Fred Bible III, Patrick Walker, John Archibald, Chandler Bible, Ben Martin & Daniel Claxton. Honorary Pallbearers: Patrick Walker III, Logan Bible and John Walker.      

     Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Fred Bible, Jr. & Rev. Anthony Smith. Music will be provided by Robert Bible.
