William Lamarr Gregory, age 52, of Texas, formerly of Newport, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009, in Quatar, Iraq. He was an independent contractor there.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Eula Gregory.

He is survived by his wife Shelli Gregory and his daughter Lindsay Gregory of Texas; sister Shelia (Jeff) Gregory McGaha of Newport, brother Barry Gregory of Texas, and other family and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy., Webster, TX 77598-6417.
