Mrs. Evelyn Levonia Holt Thompson, age 73, of Bybee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Heritage Convalescent Center in Morristown. She was born March 9, 1936.

She was preceded in death by her husband Max Minor, parents Clifford "Red" Holt and Ossie Louise Taylor Holt, and sister-in-law Polly L. Holt.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bob Thompson, Bybee; sister and brother-in-law Loanna and Denver Smith, Newport; brother and sister-in-law Edwin and Blanche Holt, Bybee; and brother Bill D. Holt, Newport.

Additional survivors include four nephews: Rodney Holt, Indiana; Randy Smith, Parrottsville; Garry Smith, Sevierville; and Billy Holt, Newport; two nieces: Melissa Holt Owens and Michelle Holt Lane, both of Newport; and four step-children: Tony Thompson, Pat Walker, Kim Fuerst, and Deborah Miller.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2009, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home in Newport. Entombment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
