Loretta Fowler Hawkins, age 69, of Morristown, went to be
with the Lord Friday, February 5, 2010, at Morristown-Hamblen Health Care
System.
She was the owner of East Tennessee Florist in Morristown
for 26 years. She was a member of Morningside Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Lucille
Fowler.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Clifford
Hawkins; daughter and son-in-law Jackie and Danny Hughes of Bean Station; son
and daughter-in-law Gene and Dianne Hawkins of Whitesburg; grandchildren
Tiffany Hawkins, Brandi and husband Perry Hodson; great-grandchildren Gideon,
Elsie, and Loretta Hodson of Knoxville; step-grandchildren Sonny Eslinger and
Heather; step-great-grandchildren Hailey and Nickolas Eslinger; sisters and
brothers-in-law Evelyn Brockwell, Greeneville; Woneta and John Hodge,
Morristown; Deanna and Brian Duffy, Bybee; Rita Kay and Warren Spessert, Bean
Station; brothers and sisters-in-law Don and Nadine Fowler, Albert Fowler,
Robert and Sarah Fowler, Allen and Sandra Fowler, Calvin and Joan Fowler, Glen
and Diana Fowler, Joe Jr. and Connie Fowler, all of Newport; sisters-in-law and
brothers-in-law Emma and Bob Jones, Helen and Jack Cupp, Mohawk; Barbara and
David Linkous, Evelyn Haney, and Peggy Hawkins, all of Morristown; over 100
nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 8, 2010
from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. The funeral
services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with the Reverend Jamie Fowler and the Rev.
Doug Rutherford officiating.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 9,
2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
Allen Funeral Home, Morristown, is in charge of
arrangements.
