Nathan Allen Fowler, age 74 of White Pine, passed away at his home on Friday, July 5, 2019.
He attended Leadvale Baptist Church and was a retired millwright from BASF, an avid farmer and outdoorsman and a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Lucille Fowler, brother Don Fowler and sisters Evelyn Brockwell and Loretta Hawkins.
He is survived by his wife of 49 ½ years Sandra Fowler, sons Craig (Vicki) Fowler and Ryan (Jacqui) Fowler, grandsons Andrew (McKenzie), James and Justin Fowler, brothers: Robert (Sarah) Fowler, Albert Fowler, Lynn (Diane) Fowler, Joe, Jr. (Connie) Fowler and Calvin Fowler, sisters: Wonita (John) Hodge, Deana Duffy and Rita Kaye Rice, brothers-in-law: Burl (Barbara) Davis, Cleamon (Jennie) Davis and Jack (Sharon) Davis along with several nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family would like to express a very special Thank You to all the caregivers and medical staff that has helped with Allen in the past.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at Leadvale Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Military Graveside Interment will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the Watkins Chapel Cemetery.
