Lacy McGaha, age 64 of Newport, passed away June 28, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Scott McGaha; father, Frank Burl McGaha; mother, Dora McGaha.

Lacy is survived by his beloved friend, Mable Fowler; son, Timothy Lacy McGaha (Jodie); step-granddaughter, Jordon Ramsey of Cosby; daughter, Tracy Hall (Jed); granddaughter, Amber; grandson, Austin; sisters, Ruby Blazer (Frank), Mary Rollins (Harold), Hattie Williamson, ex-brother-in-law, Calvin Williamson, Martha Poe (Paul), Irene Green (Roger), and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. McGaha will be cremated and the family will have a private interment at McGaha Family Cemetery in Hartford.
