Mr. Samuel E. Poisal III, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009 at his home near Lexington.

He was born April 6, 1933 in Higginsville, Mo., to the late Edwin and Frances Horner Poisal.

He retired from the U.S. Navy Hospital Medical Core and was a Korean War Veteran. He later worked as a chiropractor, retiring after over 20 years of practice.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Lucille Beck, Katherine Poisal, and Patsy Rinne.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Martha Poisal of Lexington, his son, Samuel E. Poisal IV of Atoka, a sister, Frances Barnes of Kerrville, TX, four grandchildren, Samuel Poisal V, Arthur, Andrew, and Marina Poisal, and three great grandchildren, Samuel Poisal VI, Nancy, and Owen Poisal.

The family has chosen cremation.
