Newport Utilities will be replacing some damaged equipment in the Cosby Sub Station at 1 a.m. Friday night, July 18. It may be necessary for the safety of our employees to turn the power off for about one hour to allow NU to make repairs. This outage could have effect the following customers Jones Cove, Rocky Flats Henry Town Rd, Hooper Hwy, Caney Creek, Barnes Valley, Hartford, Grassy Fork and lower Cosby from Sub Station to Shirley’s Rest.
