The Newport Plain Talk

An article appearing in the Tuesday, Jan. 20, edition of the Plain Talk listed the wrong name of one of the suspects allegedly involved in the aggravated burglary of $30,000 worth of cash and jewelry from the home of Randy Mathis, 46, 1819 Cherry Brook Way, Newport. In that article it should have read John Michael Norwood, 20, 2810 Knob Creek Road, Bybee, as one of the suspects in the aggravated burglary. Norwood along with Elijah Ramsey, 19, 132 Douglas Ave., Newport, was arrested on the above-listed charges. The Plain Talk apologizes for the error and is happy to make the correction.
