She is the mother of Joann Hartsell, Shirley Sutton, Phillip Mayfield, the late Maggie Shults, and the late Lester Mayfield, all of Cosby. Her grandchildren are Scottie Mayfield, Erika Sunshine Mayfield, Leslie and Toddy Mayfield, Phyllis Williams, Chuck Shults, and Darryll and Jeff Sutton.
