The club is open to all children ages 7 to 18. Membership cost $10, which includes lunch each day. All new members must attend a new member orientation. Orientation dates are as follows: May 27-29 at 4 p.m., June 1 at 4 p.m., and June 2-5 at 8:45 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Boys and Girls Club provides diverse activities that meet the interests of all youth. Core programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers and family members that enable them to develop self-esteem and reach their full potential. The Boys and Girls Club utilizes a time-tested youth development strategy, which promotes and enhances the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, and belonging, as well as a sense of power and influence. The club offers program activities in five areas: Charter and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, Sports, Fitness and Recreation, and The Arts.
