GREENEVILLE-Nine area residents have been named in a 23-county indictment by Federal Grand Jury in connection with alleged cocaine distribution over the past two years.

The Grand Jury charges that from in or about the summer of 2007 and continuing to on or about Nov. 2, 2009, within the Eastern District of Tennessee, the defendants, Charles Tyrone Warren, also known as CJ, also known as Cowboy; Eugene Downs, Jabri Daniels; Robecca Nicole Hawk, also known as Robecca Hawk, also known as Nicole Hawk; Misty Cutshaw, also known as Misty Weeks; Robert O. McKinney, also known as Dinero; Phillip Green, also known as Flip; and Suzanna Gorrell and other persons known and unknown to the Grand Jury did knowingly, intentionally, and without authority combine, conspire, confederate and agree with each other and with diverse other persons to commit the following offenses against the United States of America: The distribution and possession with the intent to distribute fifty grams or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine base ("crack"), a Schedule II controlled substance.

The Grand Jury further charges that from in or about September, 2009, until on or about Nov. 2, 2009, defendants Downs and Kelly Middleton, did knowingly use and maintain a place, that is, the residence at 1975 East Highway 25/70, Dandridge for the purpose of distributing and using cocaine base ("crack"), its salts, isomers, and salts of its isomers, a Schedule II controlled substance.

Downs, Hawk, Cutshaw, Greene, Middleton and Gorrell were arraigned Monday before U.S. District Judge Dennis Inman. All but Hawk were ordered to be detained. Hawk, who was out on $20,000 bond from her connection with the Ray Hawk indictment earlier this year, was released on bond.
