Warrants served: Drew Ramsey, 30, Phillips Hollow Road, was served with active outstanding warrants for theft of property over $1,000, burglary of auto, and criminal trespass on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Deputy Brock Hannah arrested Ramsey without incident and transported him to the Cocke County Jail Annex.

Domestic assault: Deputies were dispatched to the area of Strange Hollow Road concerning a domestic disturbance on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Upon arrival, Deputy Ethan Keys spoke with Sherry Phillips, 48, who said while she and Harold Shelton, 61, were arguing, he allegedly threw an ash tray at her and flipped over a table. Shelton admitted to the incident and he was placed under arrest. He was charged with domestic assault.

Failure to appear: Richard A. Preston, 32, Carson Springs Road, was served with an active outstanding warrant for failure to appear on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Deputy Brock Hannah arrested Preston without incident and transported him to the Cocke County Jail Annex.
