Warrants served: Michael Lee Moore, 36, Canal Way, was served with active outstanding warrants for criminal trespassing and public indecency on Friday, Sept. 13. Deputy Blake Cupp arrested Moore without incident and transported him to the Cocke County Jail Annex.

Assault: Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Rebels Road, concerning an altercation with firearms involved on Thursday, Sept. 12. Upon arrival, Deputy Ethan Keys said he and other deputies separated all parties and secured the two firearms. Deputy Keys said he then came in contact with James Robert Raines, 49, and Michael Scott Corcoran, 57, who both had an odor of alcohol about their person and blood on their hands. During the investigation, deputies learned the altercation occurred following an argument over a dog that was shot three months ago. Deputies were unable to determine who the primary aggressor was, therefore, both Corcoran and Raines were placed under arrest and charged with assault.

Escape: Charles Shane Maxwell, 48, Clevenger Cut Off Road, was served with an active outstanding warrant for escape on Thursday, Sept. 12. Deputy Blake Cupp arrested Maxwell at a residence on Carson Springs Road without incident.

Public intoxication: Deputies were dispatched to the 2100 block of Dark Hollow Road, concerning an unwanted female subject who was crying in the driveway on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Upon arrival, Sgt. Max Laughter came in contact with the female in question, identified as Monica Lynn Norton, 44, White Pine, who was speaking “irrationally” and was hallucinating. Norton reportedly admitted that she did a “20 sack” of methamphetamine. She was placed under arrest and charged with public intoxication.

Escape: Jennifer S. Hall, 39, Roy Road, was served with an active outstanding warrant for escape on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Deputy Brock Hannah served Hall the warrant at the Cocke County Jail Annex.

Theft: Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Lakota Road, in reference to a theft on Friday, Sept. 13. Upon arrival, Deputy Ethan Keys spoke with Shannon Costner, 22, who said a female subject allegedly stole his large air compressor and a mini refrigerator from his residence.
