Identity theft: Jed Hall, 60, came to the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office to report an identity theft on Tuesday, May 21. Sgt. Max Laughter spoke with Hall, who said he had two reports from Lloyd & McDaniel Creditors Law Firm stating he owed $6,494 to Bank of America. According to the report, Hall said the charges came from a credit card that he did not authorize. Hall later learned that his ex-wife was the person who opened the credit card account in his name without incident. The female was identified.

Domestic assault: Deputies were dispatched to Camber Drive concerning an assault that occurred on Wednesday, May 22. Upon arrival, Deputy Ethan Keys spoke to Cassandra Ledford, 35, River Street, who said Tomas Vick assaulted her and fled the scene. Deputies observed wounds consistent to Ledford’s story. Vick was later arrested and charged with domestic assault.

Probation violation: Rochelle Gibson, 39, Bowman Drive, was served with an active outstanding warrant for violation of probation on Wednesday, May 22. Deputy Donovan Lambert served Gibson the warrant at the Cocke County Jail Annex.
