Gosa arrest: Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of McCowan Creek Road, concerning a domestic disturbance where a female was chasing a male subject with a knife on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Upon arrival, Deputy Tim Snapp spoke with Earl Garrison, 58, who said while he and Carole Leanne Gosa, 49, were arguing she pulled a knife and “came at him.” Gosa was determined the primary aggressor. According to the report, as deputies were attempting to place Gosa under arrest, she became combative and did not cooperate with law enforcement officials. After a brief struggle, Gosa was apprehended. Upon arrival at the Cocke County Jail Annex, Gosa attempted to flee from deputies but was caught. She was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and escape from custody.

Escape: Steven D. Ball, 44, Allen Chapel Road, was served with an active outstanding warrant for escape on Friday, Nov. 1. Sgt. Heath Willis served Ball the warrant at the Cocke County Jail Annex.
