Assault: George Musil, 65, Cates Road, was served with an active outstanding warrant for assault on Monday, July 8. Deputy Brock Hannah arrested Musil at his residence without incident and transported him to the Cocke County Jail Annex.

Disorderly conduct: Kenneth J. Hance, 48, Meadows Way, was arrested by the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office for disorderly conduct on Tuesday, July 9. Deputy Rebecca Colley stated that while she was assisting bailiffs in transporting inmates from the courthouse to the Cocke County Jail Annex, she observed Hance attempt to hand Charles Ruppert a pack of cigarettes. Hance was arrested without further incident.

Theft: Wilbur Gregg, 66, Sevierville, came to the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office to report a theft on Monday, July 8. Sgt. Chris Barnes spoke with Gregg, who said while he was at Country Convenience market he accidentally left his wallet on the ice cream machine. Gregg said he returned to the store to retrieve the wallet, but it was missing. Gregg advised the wallet contained $520.
