Public intoxication: Officers were dispatched to the area of Lou Ellen Street concerning an intoxicated female subject on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Upon arrival, Captain Matthew Elliott said he found the female in question, identified as Lucie P. Stalcup, 61, attempting to climb over her neighbor’s fence into a dog pin. Capt. Elliott said Stalcup had an odor of alcohol about her person and was unsteady on her feet. According to the report, Stalcup admitted to officers that she “likes drinking beer.” For her safety, she was taken into custody. Stalcup was charged with public intoxication.

Warrants served: Cindy D. Benton, 39, was served with active outstanding warrants for failure to appear and failure to comply with child support (two counts) on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Patrolman Johnathan Ball arrested Benton at McDonald’s without incident.

Probation violation: Jason R. McMahan, 41, Seabrook Street, was served with an active outstanding warrant for violation of probation on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Captain Brad Ball arrested McMahan without incident and transported him to the Cocke County Jail Annex.

Assault: Luke S. Gibson, 26, was served with an active outstanding warrant for assault on Wednesday, Sept. 18. According to the report, Gibson was wanted after he struck Charlie Huff while incarcerated on August 11. Patrolman Johnathan Ball arrested Gibson at Knights Inn without incident.

Couple charged following altercation: Officers were dispatched to Best Western concerning a domestic disturbance on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Upon arrival, Patrolman Shane Bower said he came in contact with Summer D. Gosnell, 18, Greeneville, and Bryson A. Woods, 19, Sunshine Circle and learned that a fight occurred between the two. According to the report, sometime during the altercation, a sink and a mirror were damaged. Ptl. Bower said he could not determine who the primary aggressor was, therefore, both Gosnell and Woods were placed under arrest. They were charged with domestic assault and vandalism $1,000-$10,000.

Warrants served: Christian J. Ball, 26, 5th Street, was served with active outstanding warrants for violation of probation and failure to comply with child support on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Patrolman Will Garber arrested Ball without incident and transported him to the Cocke County Jail Annex.
