Probation violation: Jordan L. Large, 28, Alpine Road, was served with an active outstanding warrant for violation of probation on Thursday, Sept. 19. Deputy Brock Hannah served Large the warrant at the Cocke County Jail Annex.

Probation violation: Dewey Allen Case, 38, Apostle Way, was served with an active outstanding warrant for violation of probation on Thursday, Sept. 19. Deputy Daniel Smith served Case the warrant at the Cocke County Jail Annex.

Allen arrest: Marcus E. Allen, 43, Upper Broad Street, is facing an array of charges following a traffic stop in Newport Thursday morning. Sgt. Heath Willis conducted a routine traffic stop for a light law violation. The driver, identified as Allen, came to a stop at the intersection of Robert E. Lee Drive and Old Highway 32. According to the report, Sgt. Willis ran the vehicle’s tag and learned that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Knox County. Both Allen and the female passenger were detained without incident. Deputies checked Allen’s identification and learned he did not have a valid Tennessee Driver’s License. He was then placed under arrest without incident. Allen was charged with possession of stolen vehicle, violation of light law, driving while license suspended, violation of registration, carried registration and violation of financial responsibility.
