Cocke County Board of Education approves personnel changes

NEWPORT-Members of the Cocke County Board of
Education approved several personnel changes during their meeting Thursday
night at the Central Office.
The retirement of CCHS guidance counselor Beauanne
Ford was accepted.
Employees hired included Paul Beasley, James
Pittenger, Judy Smith, and Sara Kos, teachers at Northwest Elementary School;
Abby Swanger, teacher at Grassy Fork Elementary School; and Stephanie Taylor,
teacher at Centerview Elementary School.
Also hired were Rob Napieralski, substitute custodian
at Smoky Mountain Elementary School, and David Overholt, substitute custodian
at Centerview Elementary School.
Transfers approved included those of Kevin Hall as
teacher at Centerview to teacher at Cosby Elementary; Alicia Talley, teaching
assistant at Northwest to diagnostician; Lisa Herndon to Northwest special
education; and Wanda Caldwell from part-time to full-time secretary at
Northwest.
