Smoky Mountain gets playground equipment

Smoky Mountain Elementary School received its new playground equipment Monday afternoon. The equipment was purchased with a $5,000 grant the school's PTA received from Lowe's Home Improvement Store. PTA President Audrey Davis, center, is shown with students Courtney Napieralski, at left, and Auston Gaddy, at right, in front of the equipment as it was being installed.
