Artell Mayfield, of Cosby, celebrated her 92nd birthday May 5. She was born May 5, 1917. She is the widow of Bill Mayfield. She is the mother of Joann Hartsell, Shirley Sutton, Phillip Mayfield, the late Maggie Shults, and the late Lester Mayfield, all of Cosby. Her grandchildren are Scottie Mayfield, Erika Sunshine Mayfield, Leslie and Toddy Mayfield, Phyllis Williams, Chuck Shults, and Darryll and Jeff Sutton.
