Jewelry worth about $32,000 stolen
Chad Styles, 28, of Bedrock Way, said someone broke into his home on Saturday, Sept. 19, and stole several pieces of jewelry worth a total of $32,657, Deputy Sheriff Steve Johnson reported. Two of the items were two Rolex watches together worth a total of $23,000,

Theft reported
Nell Cook, 78, of 2460 Dairy Road, reported that on Sunday, Sept. 20, someone entered his home and took two items worth a total of $2,000, Deputy Sheriff Steve Johnson reported.

Juvenile reported missing
Danielle Cowan, 16, of 170 Judds Lane, in Newport, was reported missing on Tuesday, Sept. 15, as running from her grandmother's home on Friday, Sept 11, Deputy Sheriff Jason Oury reported.

Break-in, vandalism reported
Ruth Ann Layman, 37, of Over the Hill Road, said that on Friday, Sept. 18, or Saturday, Sept. 19, someone broke into her home, apparently by kicking in the basement door. Nothing was stolen, Lt. Rick Laws reported. The garage door is valued at $900, the frame of the basement door, $500; and a broken window, $700.

Vandalism alleged
Imogene Haney, 78, said that on Saturday, Sept. 19, at about 11:39 p.m., an unidentified male drove through her yard, causing damage to the grass. The mower also went over an eight-foot tall decorative model street lamp worth approximately $400, Deputy Sheriff Jason Oury reported.

Vandalism reported
Jodi Johnson, 33, of 1111 Fish Apartments, said that on Sunday, Sept. 13, an acquaintance got angry and damaged several items in her home, took bedroom sheets, and took away some medication, and cigarettes, Deputy Sheriff Tony Bailey reported.

Theft at store reported
Karen Clark, of Dandridge, said that on Sunday, Sept. 13, a male subject entered the Cargo market in Newport, at 1321 25/70, grabbed a $100 bill from the register, and ran out of the store headed west, Deputy Sheriff Tony Bailey reported.

Theft reported
Regina Lunsford, 35, of Ransom Circle, in Newport, told Deputy Sheriff Brian Holt that on Friday, Sept. 18, or the next day, someone stole 45 CD's and medication. The items were valued at $360.

Assault reported
Regina Parslow, 43, of Alpha Road, said an acquaintance on Sunday, Sept. 20, took some medication and then threw her through the front window of the trailer she lives in, Deputy Sheriff Steve Johnson reported.

Attempted aggravated assault
Grant Odell, 30, of 900 Bar Harbor Road, in Newport, said that on Sunday, Sept. 20, an acquaintance started screaming at Odell's wife, then allegedly tried to run over him, Lt. Rick laws reported.

Theft reported
Geraldine Hall, 55, of Bay Berry Way, said that on Saturday, Sept. 19, someone took her purse from her 1993 Ford Thunderbird, Deputy Sheriff Travis Webb reported. Stolen items were a wallet with $160 in cash, and several medicines.

Dogs dispute
Kristil Allen, 27, of Lower Bogard Road, said an acquaintance came to her residence on Sunday, Sept. 20, with a small pistol and told her if she did not chain up her dogs, the acquaintance would kill them, Deputy Sheriff Travis Webb reported.

Dogs running at large
Rebecca Hure, 29, of 232 Highway 107 South told Sgt. David Crum she was awoken in the morning of Monday, Sept. 21, by a dog barking. Hure told Crum she had spoken to the owner of the dog about putting it up, Crum's report stated.

Phone harassment reported
Nikki Garver, 30, of Rhea Street, in Newport, said three acquaintances had phoned and texted her on Friday, Sept. 18, with threatening messages, Patrolman William Garber reported.

Theft over $1,000
Terilee Gillenwalters, 52, of 813 Warford, in Newport, said the following items were stolen from her motorcycle when it was parked at the Shoe Show parking lot, at 124 Newport Towne Center, in Newport: one Ipod and several Harley-Davidson accessories, including a saddle bag, Patrolman Robby McMahan reported.
