Lions Club making candy

The Newport Lions Club began making candy at Edgemont School last
Thursday. On the left side, from front to back, are Bill Ayers, Reba Faye
Sane, Roy Campbell, Nathan Ford and Sheila Gentry. On the right, from
front, are Shirley Suggs, Pat Sparks and Ila Ruth McMillan. The Lions
Club candy and pecans are available at various businesses in Newport,
including The Newport Plain Talk.
